Atiéh Delavari

Atieh Delavari received the Ph.D. degree from Laval University, Québec City, QC, Canada in 2018. She then joined Hydro-Québec’s Research Institute, Varennes, QC, where she is currently a Scientist Researcher/ Project manager. Since 2023, she has also held the position of associate professor at Laval University. Her research interest is in the power system modeling, dynamics, stability, asset management, and frequency regulation in power systems.

In 2022, she was chosen as the NGN Canadian representative to receive the Showcase Presentation Award at the CIGRÉ Paris conference.

She also received the IEEE CCECE third Best Paper Award in 2018.

Furthermore, she served as the chair of the power system operation and control paper session at the 2019 CIGRÉ Canada Conference & Expo. In addition, she was a member of the local organizing committee, particularly in the women in power group, for the IEEE 2020 PES GM Conference. She currently serves as a member of the executive committee in CIGRE CANADA Next Generation Network in the Technical & Mentorship Lead position.
