Behzad Heydari
Behzad Heydari started his academic journey in 2013 by studying electrical power engineering at the University of Zanjan, Iran, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 2017. He then continued his studies to earn a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering-Power Systems at Shahid Beheshti University, Iran, completing it in 2020. His master’s thesis focused on reducing the risk of transient voltage instability in power systems through demand response and generation rescheduling as optimal preventive strategies. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. at Laval University in Canada, where his research mainly focuses on the stability, resilience, and operation of power systems, as well as the applications of machine learning in power systems.
