Pouya Pourghasem Gavgani
I'm a dedicated power system engineer with a strong background in energy management and optimization within power systems. My journey began at the University of Tabriz, where I pursued my Master's degree, delving into voltage/frequency stability challenges within multi-microgrids considering the rise of renewable and distributed energy resources.
Eager to bridge theory with practical application, I transitioned into the role of SCADA and Industrial Automation Expert at Modje Niroo Company. Over three enriching years, I confronted the dynamic challenges faced by utility companies head-on, devising effective solutions to increase operational efficiency.
Driven by the transformative potential of renewable energy, I embarked on a Ph.D. journey at Université Laval. Presently, my research centers on the intricate management and control of renewable and distributed energy resources, with a keen focus on real-time implementation using standard data models.
