Saeed Sanati

Saeed Sanati received a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Shahrood University of Technology, Shahrood, Iran, in 2013, the M.Sc. degree from the Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree from Semnan University, Semnan, Iran, in 2021. From 2017 to 2022, he was a SCADA and Power System Analysis Expert with Semnan TSO’s Dispatching Center, Iran, and the former Researcher at Digital Power Team, Huawei Technologies. He undertook three consecutive Postdoctoral Fellow positions with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Tehran, Tehran, from 2021 to 2022, University of Windsor, Windsor, ON, Canada, from 2022 to 2023, and the University of Laval, Quebec, QC, Canada, in 2023. He was a Researcher Professional with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Laval in 2024. He is currently a Protection and Control Engineer at Electrical Power Engineers Inc. His research interests include power system protection, SCADA systems, DC Microgrids, digital substations, and renewable energy integration.
